I had the good fortune at the start of the year to have money for new sound equipment. Not knowing for sure how best to spend my choir’s hard-earned dollars I called Wayne Pumphrey and Edmonds Pro Audio. As a retired high school choir director, he knows first-hand the issues of blending multiple singers on mics as well as the limits of choral budgets and long range planning. My sound gear was mishmash of items collected over 16 years of teaching. Wayne came to my classroom and looked over all of my sound equipment helping me narrowing down what was most critical for replacement and what was still functioning. With his advice, we purchased new mics, speakers, monitors and mic cables. When the new equipment arrived, Wayne not only delivered it all to my school he also provided a demo to the students on the proper way to set it all up and break it all down.
